Answerify is a study tool. We collect only what we need to explain your questions and keep your progress.
No sign-up needed
When you first open Answerify we create an anonymous ID on your device. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
What we store
The questions you type, the photos you upload, the explanations and tutor conversations we generate, your practice and review progress, your settings (goal, grade, subjects, language, time zone) and whether you have a subscription. We also record usage events such as "explanation finished" to improve the product; these are deleted after 180 days. Uploaded photos are deleted automatically 90 days after upload; the question text read from them stays with your history.
Who processes it
We host on Cloudflare. To generate explanations, your question text and photos are sent to the AI providers we use (currently DeepSeek, Google Gemini and OpenAI). Payments are handled by Stripe, Apple or Google — we never see your card number. Notifications are delivered through your browser's or phone's push service if you turn them on.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, and we don't use your questions to train public AI models.
Deleting your data
Email us from the address below with the request and we will delete your questions, photos, conversations and progress. Clearing the app's site data also removes the anonymous ID from your device.
Children
If you are under the age at which you can consent to data processing in your country, please use Answerify with a parent's or guardian's permission.
